Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 2, 2026
This policy explains how OppBeacon (https://oppbeacon.com), operated by Zhang Di (张迪), an individual seller, collects and uses personal data.
What we collect
- Account data: your email address, your plan, and the saved searches and optional business profile text you enter.
- Waitlist and contact messages: the email address and message you submit.
- Billing data (once paid plans launch): payments are handled by a third-party payment provider as Merchant of Record. We receive customer and subscription IDs, plan and status — never your full card details.
- Technical data: a session cookie that keeps you signed in, and standard server logs (IP address, user agent) used for security and rate limiting.
How we use it
To provide the Service (matching notices to your searches, sending sign-in links and alert emails), to generate fit summaries, to handle billing and support, and to protect the Service from abuse. We do not sell your personal data and we do not use advertising trackers.
Service providers
We use: Vercel (hosting, storage), Upstash (database), Resend (email delivery), a payment provider acting as Merchant of Record (once paid plans launch) and an AI model provider accessed through Vercel AI Gateway (fit summaries — only the public notice text and your search criteria/profile are sent). These providers process data on our behalf and may store it in the United States or other countries.
Retention
We keep account data while your account is active and delete it within 30 days after you ask us to delete your account, except records we must keep for legal or tax reasons (kept by the Merchant of Record for payments).
Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, export of, or deletion of your personal data, and you can object to processing, by contacting us. Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA or China’s Personal Information Protection Law) you may also complain to your data protection authority.
Cookies
We use only essential cookies (sign-in session). A payment provider’s checkout may set its own cookies when you open it.
Changes
We will post updates on this page and change the “Last updated” date. Material changes will be emailed to account holders.
