Terms of Service
Last updated: November 2, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of OppBeacon at https://oppbeacon.com (the “Service”). The Service is operated by Zhang Di (张迪), an individual seller (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
OppBeacon is a self-serve software subscription. It automatically processes the public U.S. federal Contract Opportunities data published on SAM.gov and lets you save searches, receive automated email alerts and read short, automatically generated “fit” summaries. Opportunity data comes from public government sources and may be incomplete, delayed or changed by the issuing agency. Always confirm details on the official notice before responding. Fit summaries (some generated by AI) are informational only and are not legal, procurement or business advice.
OppBeacon is an independent software product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of the U.S. government or SAM.gov. We do not submit bids, register businesses, file government paperwork, or provide consulting, IT, or development services. Data comes from publicly available SAM.gov records.
2. Accounts
You sign in with a one-time link sent to your email address. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to your email secure. You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract.
3. Plans, payment and Merchant of Record
The Free plan costs nothing. Paid plans: Solo $29/month or $278/year; Team $79/month or $758/year (prices in USD; applicable taxes may be added at checkout).
Paid plans are not yet on sale. When they launch, orders will be processed by a third-party online reseller acting as Merchant of Record, which will handle payment, invoicing, sales tax/VAT and returns. It will be named on this page and at checkout before you pay.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account (“Manage billing”) or by contacting us; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. See our Refund Policy.
4. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the Service: no scraping or reselling the Service’s output in bulk, no attempts to break security or rate limits, no use for unlawful purposes, and no sharing of one paid seat among multiple people beyond your plan’s seat count.
5. Availability and changes
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change or discontinue features; if we materially reduce a paid feature we will tell you in advance and you may cancel and request a pro-rated refund for the unused period.
6. Intellectual property
Public government data remains public. The Service’s software, design and original content belong to us. You keep ownership of anything you enter (for example saved searches and business profile text) and grant us a limited licence to process it to provide the Service.
7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or missed bids, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law or your statutory consumer rights.
8. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend accounts that breach these Terms.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the law applicable at the seller’s place of residence, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence.
10. Contact
